Sermon October 7, 2012

There are a few things for which I would lay my life down. Not cheese! I used to love cheese and milk and yummy dairy things but I bloat up like blow fish if I eat that stuff now so they are out of my life and its no big deal. I’d lay my life down for Colleen, my wife, I’d lay it down for any of our boys. And I’d die for the faith that Jesus has grown in me. Who He is and all that He has done for me are absolutely worth laying down my life. Probably sounds crazy to some of you. It seemed crazy to some people around Paul, but Resurrection was one hill on which Paul would die. There are a few things, maybe just One, worth your absolute very best.

Sermon, October 7th, 2012 – Andrew Allison Acts 23

Acts 23 Study Questions

1. What do various religions believe about life after death?
2. How about you? What do you think happens after you die?  Describe the evidence you have for believing that.
3. Paul was convinced of the Resurrection.  How does Resurrection work?
4. Do you see any connection between what you believe (or don’t believe) about life after death and how you live your life now?
