Sermon, Sunday November 30, 2014

It’s here!  The countdown begins

this morning as we turn

towards Christmas.

We will light the candle of Hope

and listen to scripture, and we

will sing a lot!

All in the hope of getting ready

to remember that we are part of a great story that began long before we did.

“This is the Irrational season

When love blooms bright and wild.

Had Mary been filled with reason

There’d have been no room for the child.”

(Madeleine L’Engle)
