Sermon, Sunday June 26, 2016

who is always kept safe, I know nothing of it,
for it was not shown to me. But this was shown: that in falling and rising again we are always kept in that same precious love.”

Sermon Study Questions: Philippians 1:9-14

  1. When do you feel loved?  What do you need to feel loved?
  2. How does fruit grow?  What about the, “fruit of righteousness”?  How does it grow?
  3. Is there an event in your life when, ‘the worse day became the best day’ because God did something good with it?
  4. In verse 14, Paul says that because of his chains many had become confident and more daring in proclaiming Jesus.  How does that happen?  Is there a situation in your own life where your ‘chains’ caused others to trust Jesus more?
