Stephen Ministry

A program of care at St. Paul’s, Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one weekly care ministry. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training at S. Paul’s to enhance their care-giving skills

On the first Saturday of the month, men of all ages meet here at St. Paul’s for breakfast and time together.  It’s a great time to get to know other men and connect here at St. Paul’s Leaskdale.

Hospitality Team

Eating together is a big part of life.  There is a team that helps to make this happen in various ways. If you are interested, talk to Lis Pedersen.

Sunday morning coffee is an important ministry.  Talk to Chrystal Paisley if you can help with this.

Hospitality is a great way to start volunteering at St. Paul’s Leaskdale.


GriefShare

GriefShare is a weekly seminar and support group for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Each GriefShare session is designed to run independently, so anyone can join at any time during the 13-week program. Meetings are held at Uxbridge Baptist Church on Thursdays from 2-4 pm commencing September 11, 2014.  Contact Helen Snell at h.snell@saintpauls.ca or 905-852-5921 for more information.

Serenity

Men and women are invited to come on Monday evenings at 8:00pm to find help in overcoming addiction, compulsion or difficulties in life.  This is a confidential gathering where friends will journey with you.  Contact Doug Sansom for more information.
